Please learn ONE of the JS frameworks below.
I recommend React.js, which is a lot simpler to learn. Only go for Angular if you have previous experience in this framework.
Facebook React (recommended)
Start learning React:
- Get React up and running. I recommend the Add React to a Website method, including the optional "Try React with JSX" at the bottom.
- Work through the official tutorial: https://reactjs.org/tutorial/tutorial.html
Google Angular
You should spend 2 weeks working through The Tour of Heroes tutorial, located here:
It is recommended that you cover sections 1-3 this week:
- Introduction
- The Application Shell
- 1. The Hero Editor
- 2. Displaying a List
- 3. Create a Feature Component
GitLab
Important: Make sure that you commit your work to GitLab on a regular basis!
